Logistics

Participant Stipends

Participants will receive a $2,200 stipend intended to compensate them for their time commitment and to help defray the costs of participation (including travel, lodging, and meals). Stipends are taxable as income.

Housing

Participants are responsible for securing their own housing. On-campus housing is available on Emory's campus for $48/night, which includes a linen service. Participants who wish to stay on campus may have this amount deducted from their stipend.

Dining

Participants are responsible for all meals during the Institute. A meal plan to eat in Emory's main on-campus dining hall are available for $11-16 per meal. Participants who wish to avail themselves of this option may have this amount deducted from their stipend. There are also local restaurants within walking distance of the Emory's campus at Emory Village and Emory Point. Downtown Decatur is also accessible by Emory shuttle, MARTA bus, or ride share.

Transportation

Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the Institute. Emory University is easily accessible from Hartsfield Jackson International Airport (ATL).
